Evidence labels

Every post carries a label at the top that says where its main claims come from:

  • Tested by Mat: I or my team ran it, built it or used it, and the post reports what happened, including what broke.
  • From a named source: the claims come from someone else (a maker, a researcher, a news outlet) and the post names them. I have not tested it myself.
  • Opinion: my view. It may rest on experience, but it is not a test result and not a reported fact.

A post can mix all three. The label shows its main mode, and the text says which parts are which. I never present a source's claim as my own test.

Sources

Any claim that comes from a source links to it, and every post that uses sources lists them under "Sources" at the end, with the date I checked them where it matters. I cite the original article, not an aggregator or a redirect. If I can't open and check a source, I find a second one or drop the claim.

No invented numbers

Prices, specs, search volumes and client results are either sourced or measured. A number with neither is cut, or the sentence is marked as my opinion. Prices carry the date they were checked.

How posts are drafted

Some posts start as drafts written by an AI pipeline that my team built. It works from sources I choose and writes into the site as a draft. It cannot publish anything. Every post is read, edited and fact-checked by me before it goes live, and I decide whether it goes live at all. The weekly Briefing always gets a full human edit.

Video pages show a transcript taken from my script or from the YouTube description, and each one says which.

Corrections

When I get something wrong, I fix it in the post and add a dated note under "Corrections" at the end, saying what changed. I don't change a claim without saying so. If you spot an error, tell me through the contact form.

Some buyer guides and comparisons link to products. When a page has a link that can earn XHEART money, this line appears above the first one:

Some links on this page earn XHEART a commission, or go to products sold on xheart.tech. It doesn't change what I recommend or how I test.

There are no sponsored posts today. If that changes, a sponsored post will say so at the top, and the sponsor will not see it before it is published.

Independence

UNTHAI and HTMMW are connected to me, and I say so whenever I mention them. No company pays for coverage, and no company gets to review a post before it goes live.
